Warm Boot Detection
the micro flux has the ability to distinguish a normal "cold" boot and an unexpected "warm" boot when a warm boot is detected the previous output state is retained to ensure that power supply is not interrupted warm boot causes events such as a software crash, momentary voltage drops causing a brownout, excessive emi and cosmic radiation could all potentially cause an unexpected restart behavior when a warm boot is detected, the former channel states (output on/off and voltage level) are retained the "power on at startup" setting will be ignored on a warm boot if, through output states and device configuration, it can be confirmed that the device was armed prior to the restart, then the device will act as if an arming message was received on startup in many cases, arming prior to a restart cannot be confirmed, therefore channels that are configured to "power on upon arming" will not be turned on automatically if the device arms within 2 5 seconds of a warm boot
